Another day, another Self Service single-girl story. Truth be told, The Legendary Issue is living up to its billing, not least for this refreshing contribution from German photographer Valeria Herklotz featuring ubiquity’s Nyawurh Chuol. Would be an understatement to say Nyawurh is everywhere important, be it on the runway, in print, or garnering a million likes on TikTok. Photographed outside Paris in late spring, the story published as an entry to ᴛʜᴇ ᴏʙꜱꜱᴇꜱꜱɪᴏɴꜱ gives readers a look at, what else, but autumn fashion. Lounging on a mossy step in a Miu Miu dress and tights (pictured), Nyawurh is unhurried. Time does stand still on this long May afternoon in Fontainebleu. Nyawurh is that girl, she is beyond new.
