Makenzie Moon Phelan was born and raised in New York City, but splits her time
between her homes in Aspen, Palm Beach, and London. She is the daughter of major art collectors John Phelan and
Amy Phelan and she herself is a talented artist.
Following in the footsteps of her mother who has previously hosted AMFAR at their home in Palm Beach, Aspen Art
Museums events and WineCrush at their home in Aspen, Makenzie aligns herself with various art and cancer
research philanthropy boards such as Southampton Arts Center, The Aspen Art Museum, Guggenheim Gala, The
Gabrielle's Angel Foundation and more. She has hosted charity events with brands like Prada, Saks, Bvlgari, and
more.
Makenzie defines herself as pansexual. Although being in the public eye isn’t something Makenzie actively seeks, her
ties to the LBGTQIA+ community has landed her some amazing partnerships along the way. She has worked with
Lucky Brand as a painter for their annual PRIDE artist contents, Burst Oral Care’s PRIDE collaboration with fashion
designer Christian Siriano whose proceeds reached $45,000 for the Trevor Project, as well as Hally Hair’s PRIDE
collaboration with proceeds to the trans lifeline.
Makenzie's additional interests include prosthetic makeup, which she studied in Los Angeles, is an advocate for
animal rights, traveling, modeling (has shot with Marilyn Minter) and fashion. She has a huge love for fashion, and
has attended fashion week all over the world being dressed by designers such as D&G, Bulgari, Love Shack Fancy,
Dennis Basso and Balmain. As Makenzie continues to grow on social media she hopes to show more of how much
mental health and advocating for it is a major part of her life. Having spent time working alongside some of the world's
best psychologists and doctors she cares deeply about the mental health and wellbeing of today's youth.
