Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (3rd generation Floridian; a rarity in itself).
April pursued her early modeling career in New York and Europe, basing herself in Germany. She returned to the US to work in the travel industry, as a travel agent for American Express & Expedia Cruise Ship Centers. April has considerable yachting knowledge and experience, supervising a small yacht management company in Fort Lauderdale, as well as spending much of her life on the water, on a wide variety of boats and yachts. April has a strong love of animals, volunteering her time for various animal related causes, as well as personally fostering and rescuing a wide variety of animals in need. Her love of travel and nature has taken her on many adventures, in an array of fabulous and exotic destinations, the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica being one of her favorites. April has her PADI and enjoys scuba diving, as well as snorkeling, horseback riding, hiking, sea kayaking, deep sea fishing, skiing and roller skating! April has always been drawn to fashion, loves the arts and culture scene, supporting local artists and designers whenever she can.
