Lara Menezes • Wales Bonner Spring Summer 2024

There are sprints and there are marathons, the latest campaign for designer Grace Wales Bonner’s signature label starring Lara Menezes is most certainly the latter. The collection, shown last June in Paris, carries the title Marathon and was presented as “an ode to long journeys and life missions. A celebration of soulful pursuits and inspired movement.” Photographed by Malick Bodian and styled by Tom Guinness, the campaign is Lara’s fourth in her burgeoning young career that began a little over a year ago as a Bottega Veneta runway exclusive. Lara (pictured) wears the Truth Jacket hand-embroidered with metal studs and artisanal beads. Not pictured, but certainly implied, is Lara’s gleaming winner’s medal for a fine finish.
