Born in Philadelphia and raised in New Jersey, Debra's journey in the world of modeling began after a remarkable victory in a modeling competition. This triumph catapulted her to to Paris, where she took the industry by storm, strutting down runways for renowned names like Dior and Paco Rabanne. Since her debut, Debra's illustrious career has thrived, collaborating with esteemed fashion houses, magazines, and designers from Alexander McQueen to Givenchy, John Galliano, Dries van Noten, Gieffeffe, Issey Miyake, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld and recently being featured on the covers of Dazed and Confused Magazine. Outside of modeling she has been an active supporter and participant in Life Ball AIDS for 20 years and has performed at the inauguration of M.Bassy, a non-profit organization based in Hamburg aiming to promote contemporary artistic positions and discourses from Africa and the Diaspora.
