Any excuse to spirit off to Galicia will do and a magazine shoot is no exception. The picturesque autonomous community in the north of Spain is the destination for this wintry editorial starring Sascha Alexandra from the pages of the January 2024 issue of Vogue Spain. Climate-wise the region resembles the Pacific Northwest and so it stands to reason this story by photographer Yago Castromil and stylist Beatriz Machado draws heavily on woolens. To that end, Sascha (pictured) stands in the middle of country lane wearing wool cardigan, denim jeans, wool blanket, and a toy pump in suede and allover rhinestones, all from Loewe. This chic ensemble won’t likely take the wearer far into the rugged foothills just above the Bay of Biscay, but on Sascha, the destinations, never mind the altitudes, are simply endless.
