Nyawurh Chuol • Zara Studio Fall Winter 2023

Last month Nyawurh Chuol’s Steven Meisel capsule campaign for Zara dropped, this month it’s another for Zara Studio’s Fall Winter 2023 collection. In homage to the vast back catalogue of Guy Bourdin, Meisel’s campaign delivers in the rich colors for which the late Frenchman was renown. Wearing the collection’s cropped suit jacket and wool trouser (pictured), Nyawurh reclines in a cantilever chair, unbothered by the flashbulb glare. On a set designed by Mary Howard, the campaign evokes the beginnings of an evening out in Paris. Nyawurh perfectly suits the role, after all, she does have form in front of this great’s lens.
